The team at Our World Group is led by Maria Katsarou, who founded the business in 2007. Our World Group coaches possess significant, in-depth experience of executive development with a range of clients and in different countries and situations. All of our Associates and Coaches are professionally qualified and supervised.

Maria Katsarou

Maria grew up in Lagos Nigeria and while operating globally is based in the UK, France and Greece where she is the founder of Our World Group and The Leadership Psychology Institute. For the last 8 years she has partnered with senior teams (Middle-level Managers, Management Teams, Boards and CEOs) for several organizations including AstraZeneca, Coca-Cola HBC, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Leaseplan, Rokas Group (design and manufacturing of industrial equipment), Mediamarkt, Qualco, Ericsson, Roche, Alcatel-Lucent, Chartis, Japan Tobacco International (JTI), British American Tobacco (BAT), S&B (diversified minerals and materials group), Foodlink (Logistics), CSL Behring, Amgen, Kylashipping, Printec, ELVAL (Viohalco), EverythingEverywhere (Orange), AB Vassilopoulos (retail supermarket chain), Marks & Spencer, among others.

As a Professional in the field of Organizational Development she specializes in providing Organizational Solutions that answer to today’s ever increasing business needs around leadership, managing change and increasing both individuals’ and teams’ effectiveness through the implementation of customized Leadership programs, Group Dynamics workshops, Executive Coaching. Coming from a multi-cultural background herself and having to negotiate her own path in the corporate world for 13 years in organizations like SCA Hygiene, Johnson & Johnson, Henkel-Ecolab and Diageo, allows her to provide an insight into an organization that is practical, pragmatic and challenging. Her achievements include the effective leading of various HR initiatives, the successful introduction and action as a catalyst for organizational change, as well as leading multi-cultural leadership programs in Greece, Germany, South Africa, Eastern Europe and Turkey.

She has a BA in Management and Organizational Behavior, MA in Human Resources Management and an MSc in Psychology. At the moment she is pursuing a Doctorate in Leadership Psychology at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston. She holds the Henley Certificate in Coaching, is a member of the Henley Register of Coaches (UK), and is an accredited (ACC) Coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF – USA). At the same time she is also a Senior Associate Facilitator at Mannaz in Denmark (former Danish Leadership Institute) and is accredited by The Kantor Institute (MA, USA). She is certified in various psychometric instruments (e.g. MBTI, FIRO-B, CPI, 16PF, etc.) by the British Psychology Society and has also been a tutor in Management courses at The American College of Greece and other Academic Institutions. Her professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association (APA), the British Psychology Society (BPS), the International Coaching Federation (ICF, USA), Institute of Coaching Professional Association (ICPA, USA), International Leadership Association (USA).

Maria has co-authored the book ‘Under Pressure – understanding and managing pressure and stress at the workplace’, published by Marshall Cavendish International (UK). The book has been released in English, Portuguese and Chinese.

Ronnie Zachary Nganwa
Ronnie Zachary was brought up in Uganda. He has been working as a Change Consultant within EMEA for 10 years covering change, risk and project management through to developing talent.
The bulk of his experience has been from within the financial and retail sectors, where he has developed a professional service offering that incorporates a strong coaching practice. This is now part of Our World Group. His early life was in Sports Performance Coaching, working with the current crop of British Athletes, but most notable, coaching the Olympic Boxing Gold Medallist of 2000, Audley Harrison. His knowledge and emphasis on training through specific goal setting and with a focus on realising measurable benefits has allowed him to develop expertise in several areas.
These include Consultancy skills, Leadership confidence, developing self awareness and managing performance. He is especially skilled at raising confidence and motivation in teams and helping today’s leaders gain effective tools and sustainable attitudes. Most recently his work through Our World Group has been in leadership and team development looking at the journey from self awareness through confidence therapy, ending with individuals having a basis on which to transform. Having run a number of multi cultural leadership programmes, in the UK, Middle East and Africa, his international experience and global literacy shines through in an effortless coaching style.
Brought in to advise on performance development techniques that encourage team building and knowledge sharing in developing management practice that takes on a coaching approach. As a change consultant he has worked with business leaders from within the UK Local and Central Government sectors. From the commercial arena, Ronnie Zachary has coached a broad spread of corporate clients from within Orange, Fidelity Investments, Capita and Fujitsu Services. Most recently, he has championed the adoption of coaching practice within professional services. Ronnie Zachary’s focus is on authenticity, directness, clarity, and maximising personal strengths. After all, who is better at being you than you.
Chris Wacyk

Christopher is London based Business Psychologist. He specialises in the areas of Executive Coaching, Team Building and Facilitation, Senior level Assessment, Leadership training and development, Intercultural Management and Career Development. He has worked in over 18 countries around the world, in the UK, US, Australasia, Asia, North Africa, Middle East and throughout Europe.
Apart from English, he is fluent in French, Italian, Dutch and Spanish and has a good knowledge of Polish. He is an Australian by birth, but has lived the last 25 years in Europe and the UK. Some of the clients he has worked with include; General Motors, Dell Computers, Bain Consulting, HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Citibank, Rabobank International, EADS, Canon Europe, Fortis Bank, Pepsico, ABN Amro, Habitat, Sun Microsystems, Diageo, Nortel Networks, Sheraton Luxury Collection, Radisson Hotels, ITT Automotive, Swiss Re, Generali Insurers, Eurocontrol, Fujitsu Services and many others.
He is an Associate faculty member of the INSEAD Global Leadership Centre, where he works regularly as a Coach/Facilitator on advanced Leadership Development programmes. In addition he was also active for 6 years with the Centre for Creative Leadership in Brussels as an Associate Faculty member in executive coaching.
Christopher is a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Founding Member of the BPS Special Group in Coaching Psychology and a Principal Member of the Association of Business Psychologists. He is also a State Registered Psychologist in New South Wales Australia. He holds an Australian Psychological Society recognised graduate degree in Psychology and an advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychology from the Flinders University of South Australia, one of Australia’s top research institutions.
Bertolt Stein
Bertolt was educated originally as an environmental engineer who subsequently moved into the organisational psychology domain, Bertolt’s expertise is expansive in that it includes consulting on optimising leadership behaviour and organisational frameworks, research, diagnostics, facilitating leadership programmes and executive coaching.
With over 15 years in an academic and intellectually robust environment as tutor, lecturer and Assistant Professor in psychology in the Technical University in Berlin, he has in addition worked internationally since 1990. Developing and implementing global and senior leadership programmes in Fortune 500 companies, he is recognised as a top-level executive coach, lead facilitator and expert in organisational development. His clients include Alcatel-Lucent, Grundfos, EUROCONTROL, European Investment Bank, Bayer, Vestas, ERGO and others.
Bertolt has been consulting companies intensively on identifying and refining organisational structures that influence the impact and effectiveness of applied leadership behaviour in organisations. He consults companies in the development and implementation of systematic approaches of managing sustainable leadership and talent development. This includes the formulation and testing of competency models as well as the evaluation of these models against relevant business related KPIs. His ‘tried and tested’ approach offers both practical, hands-on approaches for managers on all levels as well as systematic measurement and monitoring systems for implementing and following-up un long term HR strategies.
Clients describe the translation of business and organisational challenges into adequate HR and Leadership solutions as a core competency of Bertolt. This reaches from formulating a grounded theory and implementing a strategy with the use of effective management tools and monitoring to ensuring sustainability by systematically managing, following-up and refining the strategy implementation.
Bertolt has been coaching a large number of Executives that have either been given new assignments with significantly higher responsibility or who have been exposed to the situation of significant global growth in their organisation. The Executives and my clients/the companies appreciated besides their personal track record especially the methodical approach combined with a profound level of professional expertise.
Erin Hutchins

Erin is the Principal of Echo Leadership, a coaching and leadership development company based in Washington D.C. Erin’s focus is on challenging others to think differently, enhancing self-awareness and self-discovery that leads to transformation. Echo Leadership has partnered with Our World Group to work together across various cultures.
Erin has trained and certified with the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Erin is also certified in the Leadership Circle Profile, a leadership transformation tool.
Erin graduated from USC with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Erin has since contributed to successful wins of multi-billion dollar government programs. She continues to work in a leadership role helping companies grow to their full potential. Erin has also worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States and the United Kingdom in an organizational development capacity. She has had extensive international travel experience, working across varied cultures. Currently, Erin lives in the Washington D.C. area.
Erin is passionate about living a fulfilled life. Some of her passions include yoga, living a healthy life, travelling to new cultures and microfinance- helping women to live a more enriched and sustainable life.
